Crumbling the Antiseptic Beauty is the debut album by the English rock band Felt. Recorded in 1981, it was released in February 1982 by Cherry Red Records. Band leader Lawrence features on the cover. The opening track "Evergreen Dazed" is instrumental. The second track "Fortune" was later re-recorded and released on the band's 1984 single Sunlight Bathed the Golden Glow. Similarly, a re-recording of "Cathedral" appears on the Primitive Painters single.
