Songs For You

Songs for You is the fourth studio album by American singer Tinashe and was released independently via her own record label, Tinashe Music Inc., on November 21, 2019. It marks her first album after leaving RCA Records that same year and following her agreement for a music management deal with Roc Nation. Songs for You includes previously unreleased tracks from her abandoned 2018 project Nashe, together with new songs that she wrote and recorded in her home studio in Los Angeles. To promote the album, the singles "Die a Little Bit", "Touch & Go" and "Save Room for Us" were released, along with music videos, listening parties, and a planned North American tour. Upon its release, the album was favourably reviewed by music journalism, whom highlighted Tinashe's creative independence, the album's cohesion, and her versatility across different styles. Commercially, Songs for You reached number 147 on the US Billboard 200 and peaked at number 20 on the US Top R&B Albums chart.
