The Beauty of Sunset

The sky is dyed in crimson hues

As the breeze whispers soft and true

The fading light sings its lullaby

A gentle tune as day says goodbye

The city sways in quiet peace

Shadows stretch with silent ease

Like echoes deep within my heart

This tender moment plays its part

Golden rays embrace the sky

As the world wraps in a dream so high

With wistful love and warmth so deep

The twilight glow begins to weep

Before the night unfolds its door

Let me stay a little more

This scene I’ll keep inside my soul

A memory that makes me whole

Golden light paints the endless sky

Soft clouds drift as time floats by

A gentle hush, the world slows down

As the sun fades beyond the town
