Where the Afternoon Falls Asleep

Under a Canopy of Quiet

The First Page in Dappled Light

Falling Between the Lines

Leaf Shadows Across the Page

The Book Comes to Rest

A Breeze Wanders Through the Leaves

Listening with Closed Eyes

An Afternoon Asking Nothing

When Eyelids Grow Heavy

The Book Slips from Dreaming Hands

Only the Leaves Remain

Asleep Beneath the Shade
