Spotlight (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

Spotlight is the soundtrack album to the 2015 film of the same name. The film's original score is written and composed by Howard Shore, who used a 10-piece chamber orchestra, with the piano being the primary instrument to highlight the film's theme and motifs, instead of writing music for the characters, which Shore had approached in the music of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit series. The score was released by Shore's label Howe Records on November 6, 2015.
