Degeneración Actual is the third studio album by the Peruvian singer-songwriter, Pedro Suárez-Vértiz. Work on Degeneración Actual began in 1998 with Manuel Garrido-Lecca, a frequent collaborator of Suárez-Vértiz. The album was produced by Léster Méndez in Miami, officially releasing on 9 November, 1999, by Sony Music. The album sold over 40,000 copies, becoming certified triple platinum in Peru.
