Motry

Hi 👋 I'm Motry. I make melodic techno. Most of what I write starts somewhere outside. I surf, I pull my energy from time near water and in forests, and that ends up in the music whether I plan it or not. Long build-ups. Things that open up instead of just getting harder. A lot of this genre goes dark and futuristic and I love that too, but my stuff pulls somewhere warmer. The thing I keep coming back to is that a dancefloor or festival is one of the last places where people stop arguing and just move in the same direction. That's the moment I'm chasing. On here you'll find my releases and live sets. Releases on Sekora, Crocus and Enormous Vision, plus a remix for VANTA. Based in Marburg, playing shows around Germany and Switzerland.
