Terminatryx

Formed in Cape Town in 2002, the female-fronted Terminatryx delivers an Alternative blend of Metal, Industrial, Gothic and Electronic Rock moods, a unique sound and energy in the South African music scene. The self-titled debut and 'Shadow' studio albums each also received a full remixed version (with international remixers), titled 'Remyx v1.0' and 'Remyx v2.0' respectively. New singles 'Destroy', 'Blame', 'Suiker' and 'Go!' are gearing up for the new album. The first DVD release 'Terminatryx / Nosferatu' includes the classic silent vampire film with a new original soundtrack (with varied collaborators), recorded live at the South African Horrorfest screening (this has evolved into the band's side-project The Makabra Ensemble). With striking music videos, several Terminatryx videos have screened at international film festivals and won awards. Compilations include: Kopskoot! (translated: Headshot!), the Ingrid Jonker tribute album, Ladies First, Gothic Music Orgy Vol. 6
