olar Void makes music about extraordinary worlds and the ordinary people trying to survive in them. Sometimes it's a rowdy drinking song in a starship tavern. Sometimes it's a soldier who just wants to go home, a lonely soul looking for friends, or a machine that absolutely must not be touched because someone has a system. There are ridiculous stories, terrible misunderstandings, great battles, small tragedies, and occasionally something rather beautiful. Inspired by Warhammer 40,000, science fiction, mythology, and history, Solar Void wanders freely between industrial rock, folk, metal, orchestral storytelling, and whatever else a good story calls for. Some songs are made for raising a tankard. Others are for sitting quietly after everyone else has gone home. There's room for both.
