SURRIJA is an electro art pop thing. Good for listening at night, when high, or in the winter. I hate bios. Hey I'm Jane and my music project right now is SURRIJA (Sir-eye-ya). I have a bunch of music under both those names - they're different in important ways to me - I make music to locate myself and don't think we ever reach final form. My work has been lovingly reviewed by Earmilk, Audiofemme, Bearded Man, Virgin American in-Flight, Huff Post, CNN, Jezebel, Reddit, MAKE:Mag, UPPERCASE Mag, and such. Does it mean anything? Vietgone (Huong) by Qui Nguyen at East West Players (LA). Secret In The Wings (Music directer, composer) by Mary Zimmerman at Coeurage Theatre Co (Los Angeles). Playing six roles in Vietgone was the scariest 'cause there was no music to hide behind, first stage kiss, and was a ninja.
