Join my newsletter and get 2 full collections free: https://caughtinjoy.com My music is mostly influenced by the pioneers of Berlin School Music from the 1970s like Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze and ever since I was a kid I got heavily influenced by Tangerine Dream, Pink Floyd, Keith Jarrett, King Crimson, Jean-Michael Jarre, Kraftwerk, Genesis, Marillion, Porcupine Tree and you can probably hear some of it in the music I write. Who am I? My name is Karol Pokojowczyk, and I was born in Poland in the 70s and I live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I inherited a deep appreciation for "good music," synthesizers, modular instruments, and classic rock from my father, who was a Polish chess grandmaster. I enjoy merging the realms of mathematics and improvisation to create music and engage in sound design. Whether I'm making music or simply having fun, these elements are central to my creative process. Born in the 1970s in Poland, a time when resources were scarce, I've spent the last three decades exploring different corners of the world. During this journey, I honed my skills in composing, improvising, and playing modular synthesizers and guitars pedals, all while delving into music production and even pursuing startup ventures.
