The Baila Baila Program was established in 2010 as a music-based initiative designed to help families introduce children (ages 0-3) to the Spanish language through engaging and interactive learning experiences. From 2014 to 2018, Baila Baila operated its own location on Lincoln Blvd in Santa Monica, providing a variety of Spanish classes for the community, including music, yoga, storytime, and the renowned toddler-oriented preschool program. In 2017, Baila Baila expanded by opening a second location in Lomita, CA. Currently, Baila Baila serves LA County Libraries, LA City Libraries, New Jersey Libraries, Brooklyn Libraries, and various unincorporated city libraries, as well as LAUSD and the Simi Valley School District, through its Bilingual Family Show. The Baila Baila bilingual band has been featured at major Los Angeles festivals, including the LA Festival of Books, the Arts and Literacy Festival, and the Los Angeles Libros Festival.
