J'Da Prynce

Songwriter, performing artist, and actor, J. formerly known as J'Da Prynce, draws inspiration from legends such as the Godfather of Soul, James Brown, the King of Pop Michael Jackson, and modern-day powerhouses, Fantasia and Beyonce. With over 25 years of experience as an independent artist, J. has performed both domestically and internationally; performing in cities spanning from Greensboro and Raleigh, North Carolina to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Bangkok, Thailand. In 2015, J’Da Prynce served as lead singer for the Heat Band. Heat was instrumental in helping Spasso, the venue in which they played live six nights a week, (Bangkok, Thailand) win the award for Best Live Music Venue for two consecutive years. In 2023, J. garnered a lead supporting role as Lucas in the comedic and drama-filled feature film, Mixed Christmas. In 2025, J. is preparing to once again show his fans that he is an undeniable musical force with the release of blazing new single, "Unwind."
