Multi-instrumentalist Jørgen Munkeby, front man of Norway’s genre-defying Shining, is not one for sitting still; his unstoppable creative energy is vivacious, restless and at the forefront of his existence. With their recent single, “IDGAF”, Jørgen laid bare lockdown-induced fantasies about fighting cops and doing cocaine, all whilst perfecting the noble art of not giving a fuck. Munkeby comments; “My whole life has been about not giving a fuck – or mores specifically not giving an F about what other people think I should or should not be doing musically. KMA is the third single to be released from Shining’s new EP called IDGAF, and it lives up to the EP title. Shining's Jørgen Munkeby comments: "Who’s missing loud concerts, sweaty clubs and crowded dance floors? Who’s missing parties that last till the sun comes up? Shining’s Jørgen Munkeby has such a hunger for these rampant nights where everyone’s doing everything wrong, that he penned a song about it. A love letter to gin and serotonin, and to loud music and low lights. Will we see you at the local rock joint headbanging and screaming from the top of your lungs when we again can be rowdy and rude in public? Shining’s ready! Are you?"
