Hello! I’m Avishai Darash, an Amsterdam-based music enthusiast blending North African, Western classical, American jazz, and Israeli folk. I started with my cousin Tribal Tul in electronic music, then jazz at 16. I studied in Jerusalem and Amsterdam, collaborated with Mohamed Ahaddaf, and founded "Nomadic Treasures." Notable albums: "Impermanence" and "SAMSKARA." As artistic director for the Marmoucha Orchestra (2020-2023) and MusicalMakers (2021-2023), I honed skills in composing, arranging, and project management. My recent album, "Between Hope and Despair," responds to Middle East changes. I also served as pianist and arranger for Amsterdam's Andalusian Orchestra (2017-2019) and led “ZIEL” project with dance company ICK. Beyond music, I mentor aspiring musicians, solidifying my growth as an innovator in contemporary music.
