ALBUM OUT NOW: https://bfan.link/solitude Welcome Dystopia, a Modern Thrash Metal outfit hailing from Hamburg, Germany, was founded in late 2017 by ex-members of bands like Venatic, Taste Of Greed, Goremode, Elbrebellen and Comatic Sleep. The Band honors a modern mix of Metal & groovy Hardcore which sounds familiar but not worn out. A homage to the early 2000, teamed with 90s Thrash and striking refrains. Drummer Axel, bassist Torben, guitarists Mark and Mike, as well as singer Roman design energetic, heavy riffing with precise drumming and catchy melodies which reminds of bands like Lamb Of God, Machine Head or Killswitch Engage. Back in November 2018 the band released their first EP “Welcome Dystopia” (and a first Music Video) which is available at all common digital platforms as well as on tape. A debut that grabs listeners attention through Romans voice, that ranges from rough shouting to emotional and melancholic vocal performances. 2019-2020 was used to play live gigs, write new song material and successfully produce the debut album, with which the band further developed their distinctive style. The modern and dynamic sound of the record perfectly contrasts the edgy and groovy riffs with its richly detailed refrains. This ensures that it will not get boring over the 12 tracks of the album. Welcome Dystopia was able to give Thrash Metal its own 2021 stamp. The band just released their debut album Solitude and is looking forward touring the album in 2022.
