Big Hook

Chicago underground legendary crew had mixtape stores, flea markets and mega discount malls on the north, west and south side flooded with hard hitting raw raps over bone chilling break beats. Back then it was all CD's. In 2006 iLL Clicks Militia was the first unsigned group from Chicago to get over 100,000 views on youtube with their videos for "We Don't Give A F**k" and "Ain't Gone Change". By 2009 the follow up videos for "Spit That Fire", "If It Was Up 2 Me" and "Survival of the Fittest" all surpassed the previous view counts. With cinematic skill and expression of iLL Clicks member and director Mahdi aka Eddie Yale. Big Hook & iLL Clicks had the Chicago underground and streets on smash. Big Hook's debut album "Hook's Corner" was released in 2014 and is a certified hood classic. Today iLL Clicks and Big Hook continue to create art that is uncompromising and timeless. The underground will never die!! Long live real hip hop and Rest In Paradise to all the fallen soldiers in the everyday struggle.
