2019 Midwest Country Music Association Songwriter of the Year, Americana Artists of the Year, and 2018 Kerrville New Folk winner Sarah Morris’ endearingly honest, expertly penned songs deliberately miss the forest for the trees. Armed with a poignantly relatable rainy day ache in her sunlit voice, she weaves a winding path of masterful storytelling and timeless Americana melody that invites audiences to join her in celebrating the magic of our everyday minutia. In the eight years of her career, Sarah has shared stages with greats like JD Souther, earned international airplay, and reached notable positions on the Americana Music Association and Euro Americana charts. Her fifth full-length album, All Mine, was released in February 2020. Since 2014, Sarah has participated in a prompt-based online songwriting group, which require filming a demo of each completed song - as a result, there are over 100 rough, unedited #brandnewbabysongs on this channel. Many of these songs have gone on to become fully realized on her recent albums, 2015's Ordinary Things, 2017's Hearts in Need of Repair, and 2020's All Mine. Additionally, in 2017, Sarah began filming one-take versions of cover songs with her musical friends. Dubbed "Toilet Tunes", because the filming location is Sarah's #biggreenbathroom - the 50+ Toilet Tunes all appear on this channel. And are awesome. And fun!
