MattGordon

MattGordon (MG) isn’t just a musician... he’s a storyteller, a time traveler, and an architect of sonic escapism. Inspired by legends like Michael Jackson and Missy Elliott, songwriters who mastered the art of theatrics, dance, and immersive worlds, MG crafts experiences that transcend music. He writes all of his own songs, ensuring every lyric and melody carries his personal touch. His journey into the industry was unconventional. Without a clear path, he began recording covers and writing demos for other artists on YouTube, efforts that led to viral moments and invaluable connections. That dedication has since paid off, earning him major milestones in his career. He was personally selected by Jhéne Aiko to record at Spotify Secret Genius Studios, an undeniable testament to his artistry. Additionally, he secured victory in a cypher competition judged by Grammy award-winning songwriter James Fauntleroy.
