Esseo

'Neptunes' is the latest full length album to come from wavey UK trap artist Esseo. Building on the themes revealed in his last project 'Eclipse', 'Neptunes' is the cohesive next chapter in his creative story.Drawing out a spacey ambient vibe, Esseo started bringing this project together in early 2020 with all the songs recorded over the course of year with cousin and engineer RichIsWaved. The official video for the single 'Pull Up' was filmed in Cyprus before the pandemic hit Europe and captures a real feeling of joy and euphoria. Esseo is the pseudonym of melodic, Trap/R&B singer-songwriter, whose solemn yet earnest and vibrant sagas of past relations translate to ambient, hazey, foggy themes of heartbreak, toxicity and nostalgia. Reminiscent of artists like PARTYNEXTDOOR, Lil Uzi Vert and Bryson Tiller, yet driven by a UK aesthetic, his music makes perfect for long night time drives. A member of the Nothing Was Easy collective, Esseo is working to usher in a new sound era into the UK genre. Esseo is no stranger to the music industry, previously releasing under the moniker Scorpio. Esseo's early music was also endorsed by British DJ Trevor Nelson. Now in a new chapter of his artistry, we cannot wait to see what comes next for this promising UK talent.
