Rob Endraus Official Artist Channel Rob Endraus is an electronic composer and multi-instrumentalist from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. At 13, he flew to Mississippi to work on multicultural projects. While working with his father, producer, and guitarist "Robertinho de Recife", he was invited to improvise as a drummer with local musicians in Blues clubs, alongside notable guitarists such as Jessie Robinson (currently the lead guitarist of B.B. King's band) and King Edward in the Mississippi Delta. It was during this time that Rob's interest in electronic music began. While producing in the Terminal Recording Studios in Ridgeland, he spent most of his free time playing on a synthesizer that had been left there. Years later, he began experimenting with old hardware: sequencers, modular synthesizers, drum machines, and vocoders. Rob's main inspirations are Daft Punk, Vangelis, Kraftwerk, and Isao Tomita. From 16 to 18 years old, he has worked as a producer and musician for Brazilian artists such as Zé Ramalho, Hungria Hip Hop, André Mattos (Angra), Andreas Kisser (Sepultura), Geraldo Azevedo, and others. He scored for the Brazilian film "Tormento" (2021) directed by Ricardo Rama. In 2017 and 2023, Rob moved to Japan, where he produced and recorded projects for artists such as Yumi Matsuzawa, Tsubasa Imamura, DIA+ (a female Taiko drum group), The Figgs (a New York band), and composed ambient songs and worked as a graphic designer on projects for the Japanese government.
