Waju

Born and raised between the Inland Empire and the greater Los Angeles area, Waju is a part of the next generation of Hip Hop artists who focuses on lyricism and the art of storytelling. In an era of artists eyeing the quickest route to fame, Waju is a refreshing take on our current music landscape as he remains loyal to his craft. Waju continues to develop as a breaking artist and closely studies icons of the past & present, regardless of genre. Whether he’s performing at local music festivals like Coachella or in Sierra Leone, West Africa, Waju’s stage presence and command over the audience are palpable. His 90s inspired flow, ornate lyrical pattern and explicit delivery have garnered the attention of fans and fellow musicians alike and have led to noteworthy collaborations, including the single, If U Wanna, produced by Electronic Music Award nominee Medasin. Waju is aiming to stretch musical comfort zones, and he looks forward to doing just that with his EP JuiceBox produced by his long time friend and collaborator, Huss. This LA based duo has much more to come!
