I've been recording and releasing electronic and progressive folk music for over 35 years. I play a Mellotron, synthesizers, bass, recorder, guitar, and clarinet. This channel currently focuses on making electronic music with an iPad. I was a founding member in 1983 of the musical collective, the Objective Music Coalition, with other musicians who were interested in developing an applied creative practice. I joined the emerging ambient/space music scene of the early 1990s, releasing a number of cassettes under my own Ironing Board Recordings imprint. My first electronic music CD, Synthetic Block, was released on Mindspore in 1998. Subsequent electronic music CDs have been released on labels such as Hypnos and Gears of Sand. My music has also appeared on numerous compilations, and has been featured on many radio shows, including Echoes and Star's End. In addition to my solo works, I've performed and recorded with Dave Fulton, APK and Ben Fleury-Steiner. I also compose and play bass for the progressive folk rock duo, Block & Tackle (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVIN.... I'm also a poet and my poetry have been published in journals around the world, including Phoebe, The NRG Anthology, The Chiron Review and Riverrun.
