Turtle The Exiled

Turtle The Exiled, born Daven Birchfield, is a 23-year-old artist and producer from West Blocton, Alabama. Blending the raw energy of Trap with the surreal edge of Meme Rap, his sound is chaotic, emotional, and constantly evolving. Since 2022, Turtle's journey has been one of transformation. After tragically losing his mother in a car accident and facing the absence of his father, he stepped up to care for his younger sister, just four years old at the time, becoming not only a guardian but a symbol of resilience. Through grief and hardship, he found purpose in music. Known for his experimental approach, Turtle The Exiled draws influence from artists like Joji — even covering you suck charlie — while also working with names like Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane, BNYX®, lil Cumtism, Ramzoid, Anno Domini Beats and Tumfy. His instrumental concept album, which tells a story through seamless transitions, gained modest success, with The Type Beat going semi-viral on TikTok. His debut album Don't Forget To Feed Your Neopets (Deluxe) saw breakout success on Spotify and YouTube, marking him as an artist to watch in the underground scene. Turtle’s music isn’t just sound — it’s survival, legacy, and love wrapped in 808s and punchlines.
