The Muster Point Project (TMPP) is based in YYC but writes songs in SCL and places in between. TMPP's single, Don't Give Me Anything, was named The Undiscovered Gem of the Week on Corus rock stations across Canada. TMPP's debut album released to absolute crickets, but slowly built a following of fans which include mostly family, friends and people who scanned the QR code on a decal placed in public bathrooms. The second album, What's The Point? got us our first radio play, thank god for covering John Prine. The next year TMPP released two EPs. The first, a collaboration with novelist Geoff Moore contained songs featuring the Kick Horns, a tango-based rocker with a perfect title to troll rock critics with, a literary gem, a total rocker and an interesting genre melt of a song completing the eclectic mix. The 2nd EP contained 4 previously released singles as well as "The Diner" which one YouTuber called "brilliant songwriting". TMPP's last album "It Was Here He Received His Only Formal Education" is available on special limited edition blue vinyl and the band is finishing up work on their next album, due out this fall, called "Old Is New". TMPP works with producer Darryll McFadyen of the clan McFadyen. You can purchase analog versions of TMPP music, available on 8-track, cassette, CD and vinyl in fine record stores in Calgary, Edmonton & Santiago as well as on Bandcamp. Thanks for listening to TMPP.
