🎧I am DJTooTall, a Christian music producer and songwriter. I make every effort to blend faith with genre-bending sound. Recently, I’ve been accused of auditioning to be heaven’s DJ… Lord willing, I don’t plan on leaving just yet. For over 15 years, I worked as a club and event DJ, MC, and occasional live sound engineer. The reality is that the DJ world took its toll—it strained my marriage, my health, and my sense of direction. Then my residency ended overnight due to a format change. Just like that, everything I’d built was gone. I was certain God had closed that chapter for good. What I perceived as loss later revealed itself to be a gracious gift. Those eight years away from music weren’t wasted; they were a time of refining. God used that pause to shape me into a better man and husband. Looking back, I can see how He placed me in a kind of spiritual marinade, adding new layers of depth and flavor that sank into my heart and mind. My return isn’t to the nightlife... it’s to spread the light of Christ.
