Raised in Southern Illinois, John Spicer has spent a lifetime honing his craft. A multi-award-winning banjo prodigy by age 12, he grew into an accomplished singer-songwriter, guitarist, and multi-instrumentalist whose influences span country, blues, and classic rock. After relocating to Los Angeles, Spicer recorded alongside many of the industry's top musicians while earning opportunities with Fender's official NAMM artist roster and EverTune. His songwriting has also found success in film and television, with multiple songs licensed for primetime network television series. In 2015, his debut single, "Pretty Good At Lovin' You," reached #1 on the Independent Nashville Music Row Chart. Since then, he has remained intentionally selective, even passing on high-profile mainstream opportunities while continuing to write, record, and perform. Now, with his first new release in over a decade, John Spicer returns with music defined by authenticity, experience, and exceptional musicianship.
