Dark Eyes/New Eyes -- A Journey in Armenian Music is a program presented by Perspectives Ensemble and co-curated by Eve Beglarian, Kevork Mourad, and Sato Moughalian, three New York based Armenian artists. Dark Eyes/New Eyes incorporates a wide range of Armenian music -- both very old and very new. Dark Eyes/New Eyes traces the arc of a life, from beginnings in a mountainous Armenian village, youth spent in a city learning an ancient art form, desolation, recovery and regeneration in a new place.
