With lyrics touching deep on human psyche and it's dark, yet danceable vibe, NieMy creates a truly unique blend. Get it here: https://pickyourownrecords.bandcamp.c... His debut "Na Pograniczu Snu" ("On the Verge of Dream") was recorded in first half of 2022 almost entirely by himself. From the first notes you can hear influences of post-punk, cold wave and new wave of the 80s and 90s, but further listening reveals less obvious influences like post-rock, electronic music and dub. Each track provides an insight into different parts of human psyche. Dream-like lyrics going in pair with minimalistic and hypnotic rhytm section interweaves with instrumental soundscapes. Production-wise, this record is not sparing on psychedelic echoes derived from dub influcences and is reminiscent of cold wave and post punk classics, yet in a one-of-a-kind spin.
