I started playing the piano in my teens , when I was 17 years old, when I enterred UST Conservatory of Music 1996. Before that , i already want to learn the instrument but we cant afford because of financial reason. So when I entered University Of Santo Tomas Conservatory Of Music as Voice Major, we are automatically enrolled to Piano Minor. I started studying the Piano and practiced a lot. After 3 years , I finished the Minor Level and took double Major, Voice and Piano ( actually triple Major- Voice , Piano & Composition ). I remember my first Piano Teacher was Prof Porticos , then Dra Pilar Jimenez, then my beloved Teacher , my friend Prof Patria Aliwalas. I always want to impress my Teachers so I studied very hard. i was a beginner but i tried my best to study on my own and do a lot of advance reading. Studying to me is like a hobby. I enjoy every minute of it. After my Bachelors Degree in Voice, I continued my Piano for 3 more Years then I stopped to start my Masters. Im not a performer but I could say,"Im a good piano Teacher ". why? because of my students,,.. they are so so so good now , better than me ,, they even won National Competitions. I love to teach the Instrument ( Piano ) same with Voice, sharing my passion to all those who would like to learn. I make it easier and fun for my students to learn the basic, good foundation in Music , note reading, rhythm, emotion, music theory, analysis, interpretation and soon combine it with technology, composition and many many more.
