James' music is a bit like the English weather - sometimes stormy, occasionally dark and brooding, with frequent tinkly showers and the occasional surprising burst of delightful sunshine. He, and the band of excellent musicians who variously help him out at venues and in the studio, have coined the term 'sci-folk' to describe their offerings. The videos here also include some covers recorded in Tanworth-in-Arden at the annual Nick Drake Gathering.
