Nightfall in Middle-Earth (Blind Guardian)

In 1998 Blind Guardian published their metal concept album Nightfall in Middle Earth in which they set J. R. R. Tolkien's Quenta Silmarillion to music. The Quenta Silmarillion ("The History of the Silmarils") tells of the events of the worls Arda's first ages, when Melkor (Morgoth, "The Dark Enemy") inflicted war on whole Middle-Earth, from the Beginning of Days to the great wars of Beleriand to the War of Wrath and Melkor's banishment from Arda. Central are the Silmarils, gems created by Fëanor, and their robbery by Melkor what finally led to the Doom of the Noldor, their exodus to Middle-Earth and the War of the Jewels and had lasting effects on the history of Middle-Earth until the ages of "The Lord of the Rings" and beyond. Please support Blind Guardian and purchase their current album "At The Edge Of Time". I also advise the books "The Silmarillion" and "The Children of Húrin" for everyone, who wondered what had happened in the ages before the War of the Ring, which Aragorn and Elrond know so many old stories about, when they read "The Lord of the Rings". At The Edge Of Time"!
