Pictures of Winter

Pictures of Winter is a 5-piece metalcore band from Connecticut. Pictures Of Winter is another incarnation of the band Chasing Eternity, which called it quits in March of 2006. With the rise of this new incarnation come a new sound and a new goal: To combine the mesmerizing melody popularized by bands like Hopesfall and Poison the Well with the unforgiving ferocity that has characterized metalcore heavyweights like The Acacia Strain and August Burns Red. While this is the objective of many bands in the metal/hardcore scene today, Pictures Of Winter hopes to do so in their own way so as to forge a one-of-a-kind sound. Equipped with aspirations to create this new sound, and lyrics inspired by themes that transcend boundaries of time and place, Pictures Of Winter is on a mission to make a positive and lasting impact in today's music scene.
