In the Autumn of 2015, Psappha offered UK-based advanced students of composition and composers, who are at an early stage of their career, the opportunity to work with Psappha’s clarinettist, Dov Goldberg, and to write a work for solo clarinet. The scheme took place between November 2015 and March 2016 with each composer working closely with Dov to both develop the new works and to learn more about writing for the clarinet. The culmination of the project was a day of filming in Psappha's rehearsal and performance venue St Michael's in Manchester, UK. All composers attended the day and were able to fine tune the performance before and during the filming.
