Smooth rock & pop from the (mostly) late '70s & early '80s. Ah, yes...those electric pianos, palm muted guitars, melodic toms, blazing saxes, & above all, sweet, sweet vocals! Embodied more than anyone else by Michael McDonald—my favorite singer of all time—singing on his own hits and, seemingly, everyone else's as well. I guess these were my personal favorites. Okay, mine and a few million other folk too. But with this one difference: WARNING! This list contains a heavy dose of Contemporary Christian Music of the same era. Similar sounding stuff, the stuff I was listening to mostly back then, the stuff that's been almost impossible to find for the past 30 years. You've probably never heard these songs before. But, hey, give 'em a listen. Who knows? Maybe you'll find a "new" oldie favorite! :)
