PERSONA 6: VERGS OST I (2017-2019)

Hi and welcome to PERSONA 6 VERGS, a fanmade project to tribute the release of the official PERSONA 6. In this project everything in this OST and the descriptions will explain the story more deeply as you go on. You will find out the protagonist urge to gamble and her conflicting personality in terms of her gender and how she was brought up. She is in fact a female living as a "male", fighting herself continuously to find herself through the act of gambling. She is shy and uninterested in the people she does not know, but when it comes to money and gambling, a different side is seen. Lost in her identity and struggling with her addiction to gambling, she is met by an assistant dressed in purple named Oliver who comes from what’s called “The Shadow Market”. He takes perfect candidates from the world into this unknown market where people use their souls as money. Each soul has a determined net value which can either increase or decrease, representing how much their soul is worth. In the Shadow Market each person is gambling their lives on a daily basis. They are called entrepreneurs, each given an SM card, which has access to their souls current worth and their “Personal Asset” called their “Persona”. Each soul has a will attached to it, described as the connection between body and soul, which where the Persona resides. Through the SM card, entrepreneurs can call upon these Personas to aid them. The more net value you have, the more your soul and Persona is worth. Only by participating in mandatory battles within the Shadow Market or exploring its hidden realms, will either increase the net value of the soul or plummet the value of your soul to 0, where the market would unfortunately have to take care of you, a phenomenon known as bankruptcy. The Protagonist is also introduced to a group named VERGS. An organization focused on collecting and destroying corrupt companies while becoming a necessary asset that the world must depend on. How will the protagonist navigate this unknown world where her soul’s worth is determined by how much she gambles her life. Will she find worth in her life, or will her need for worth end up consuming her and others around her? —————————————————————————— The OST will be split between four parts. OST 1, 2, 3 and GENOCIDE. GENOCIDE is a route where you don't join VERGS in the beginning. It is also serves as an OST specifically dedicated to remixes of current songs in the normal P6 VERGS soundtrack. VERGS is normally your official group and the first encounter you have with your friends in the story. This creates a what if scenario, creating two paths in the story, thus the introduction of GENOCIDE and NORMAL route. Throughout the stories, you will learn about the mysterious Shadow Market, the back story of your friends, VERGS purpose, and a rival organization named the Illusionists. As stated before, VERGS is a group of powerful teens whose sole purpose is to be the economic benefit to society, an invisible hand, to which the world can't live without. The rival organization, the Illusionists, have a unique objective. They are determined to get an item known as the Apple of Ouroborus, locked away in the lowest of dimensional realm of the Shadow Market. It claims to grant them knowledge unknown to anyone, as well as power from the dragon Ouroborus. This power is said to alter the course of the world. It The main message behind PERSONA 6 VERGS is to find value in yourself, and not look for something/someone to define that value for you. You should live your life loving who you are as a person, and accepting the events that lead you to become who you are. Because if your don't (In this case with the GENOCIDE route to the story) you'll end up losing yourself, and others around, as you try to find things to fill the emptiness in your heart, while continuously rejecting what you really want do due to fear or unsolved inner turmoils, issues or insecurity you may have been through in your past. Life is about growing, and if you cannot grow, you’ll remain aimless, unable to achieve true happiness and worth. Afterall finding the worth in yourself is the greatest value you can have. So without further ado, please enjoy my little fan project! Thank you!
