This album is currently exclusively available on my Bandcamp: https://magnusmoone.bandcamp.com/albu... The album "Saint Lazare" by Magnus Moone is a stunning collection of 16 tasteful and sophisticated contemporary classical tracks effervescing bliss, energy and magic. The tracks on "Saint Lazare" were originally composed for and also inspired by the themes of numerous documentary and art films, adding an extra layer of depth and meaning to the music. Wolfram Gruss, the composer behind Magnus Moone wrote these pieces in a stunning fashion: "Saint Lazare" is a dynamic and artistic masterpiece that effortlessly shifts between calm, but tense moments to fast-paced, energetic rhythms, creating a listening experience that is both mesmerizing and exhilarating. Fast staccato-like passages, sometimes overly dramatic, sometimes light and floating pile up to a climax which in the next moment is brought to a sudden halt only to take a breath, pick yup again and take the listener away. The music is primarily composed of classical orchestral instruments such as strings, piano, mallets, but is also mixed with subtle electronic sounds and prepared, unusual instruments resulting in a unique, fresh sound that clearly stands out. With hints to classical composers such as Debussy, the combination of these elements result in unique and fascinating compositions that are both state of the art and timeless. "Saint Lazare" is a remarkable album that has Magnus Moone's versatile and passionate style written all over it. Its motivating, bold and explorative collection of contemporary classical tracks makes sure to captivate and inspire any listeners looking for new and expressive contemporay classical music.
