This album is currently exclusively available on my Bandcamp. https://magnusmoone.bandcamp.com/ You can also listen to the album in a continous mix here: https://youtu.be/VK0QfHxXvyQ Magnus Moone's album "Beyond the Ice" is a masterful display of musical storytelling that showcases his incredible talent as a composer. The album features 17 tracks that are a unique blend of ambient, classical, and acoustic elements, intertwined with electronic IDM elements, resulting in a hauntingly beautiful and deeply emotional soundscape. Inspiration for the music actually came while Wolfram Gruss, the producer behind Magnus Moone was working on a film soundtrack for the artist Paula Modersohn-Becker. It interprets the emotion her art evokes visually into an auditive, comtemporary soundscape. The music on this album is introspective, self-reflective, and intimate, evoking a sense of melancholy and sadness that resonates with the listener. Each track is meticulously crafted, with multiple layers of instrumentation that breathe and flow, creating a dynamic and meditative listening experience. While the tracks on "Beyond the Ice" are instrumental, they are imbued with a strong sense of associative narration. The album's complex songwriting and flawless production quality further elevate the listening experience, allowing the music to fully envelop and captivate the listener. The album is a perfect accompaniment for various moods and activities, whether it's working, being productive, or simply chilling and meditating. Moone's music has the ability to create a unique atmosphere that is both introspective and thought-provoking. In summary, "Beyond the Ice" is an exceptional album that showcases Magnus Moone's fabulous talent as a composer. The tracks are emotive, layered, and beautifully crafted, taking the listener on a journey through a vast sonic landscape. It's a deeply rewarding and inspiring listening experience.
