The Rockingchair Collections These playlists are selections of my favourite old songs from my favourite old performers. It started out as a fun thing for my grandkids with a rendition of "Teddy Bear" which somehow grew into a "Grandpa Does Elvis" compilation. Recording these covers went on to become one of my most enjoyable retirement hobbies, and the "Rockingchair" pseudonym/logo was eventually adopted to replace various earlier title references such as "Grandpa", "Keith", etc. These are all home-recorded, mostly using commercially available backing tracks. Given my respect for the original artists, the limitation of my (now ‘geriatric’) vocal ability, and the makeshift recording technique, there is no intention to offend anyone’s musical sensitivities or to infringe any copyright. So, there is no motive to profit from it ... it is purely a hobby! I just hope that you enjoy listening to the various covers of these Chuck Berry classics as much as I enjoyed singing them!
