Back in the Days (Album)

French disco visionary Thony Ritz is dedicated to preserving the roots of the genre. Trailblazing the future of modern electro-funk, Thony Ritz returns with a new dance floor hungry album “Back in the Days”. An unbridled get-down, “Back in the Days” is chopped with glitchy laser beam synths dotted with diced-up vocal samples likened to the early sounds of The Jackson 5. Teeming with elaborate electric guitar riffs and a rush syncopated rhythm sections, Thony Ritz excels at balancing a labyrinth of stylish sound. Shaded with with old-school hues and forward-thinking complexions to match, “Back in the Days” is a contemporary disco relic.
