In the past 3 years, Myles Sanko the front man of the Funk/Soul band "Bijoumiyo" and recent addition to Retro-Funk band "Speedometer" has created an incredible following of music lovers thirsty for the originality, quality and energy of artists such as Otis Redding and James Brown. Myles is now embarking on his first ever solo project which he describes as a mixture of soul with rock chord progressions, played by jazz musicians with the intention to produce feel good music with lyrics that make you think. He has spent the past 12 months traveling to France to write with Parisian composer Thierry Los - a rock artist and composer who has worked in the music industry for many years. Mr Los is said to have waited a long time to work with someone possessing the raw talent that Myles so naturally exudes. Over 20 songs have been rehearsed and are ready to be recorded by a 12 piece band, comprising drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, trumpet, trombone, tenor sax, baritone sax, percussions and strings. Myles is staying true to his love of keeping his fans interactively involved in his creative process by allowing them to help him choose which songs he records in the studio. "I am finding it impossible to pick the songs for the album because I'm so in love with all of them. So I decided to ask my fans to help me make the decision!" says Myles. With this in mind, he has posted several live acoustic versions of his tracks on YouTube and by watching and sharing these videos, Myles hopes to select the songs with the most plays to record as official tracks on the album -- it is that straightforward so start sharing your favorite video now!
