Aethereal https://www.beatport.com/release/plan... The crew at Abstract Space Records are eager and delighted to present the ‘Planet Earth’ EP expertly crafted by underground progressive favorites Rogier & Stage Van H for the Aethereal imprint. Alongside the stunning title track are three innovative remixes produced by Netherlands based progressive house visionary Difstate, Albanian deep tech house maestro Teelco and the underground guru of synthesizer coercion E.F.G. of Poland - each offering unique and alluring interpretations of the original. Rogier & Stage Van H create a tension filled dark excursion into the cosmos with a rich tapestry of melodic and compelling elements. Planet Earth’s pulsating bassline gallops deftly between the beat forming a captivating backdrop for silvery chord plucks and scintillating synth leads to encapsulate the track in a cloak of beauty and suspense. With prime production quality and an infectious groove, this track is poised to make an appearance in many fashionable mixes this year. If one word could describe Difstate’s take on the Planet Earth original, it would be evolutionary. Slick punchy drums lay the groundwork of this truly inspiring track while snappy filtered stabs interject when the time is right. Sweeping pads and thought-provoking synth motifs build gracefully into the ideal setting for the introduction of each of the stunning lead parts as they take the stage. With trance-like synth sequences that artfully filter in and out while a bouncing bassline shoulders the flow, this remix creatively builds upon its theme throughout the progression of the track creating an excursion into utter blissfulness. The E.F.G. mix presents the listener with complex chord structures and flowing textures that offer a more uplifting feel which are complemented perfectly by deep and enticing rhythm elements. Underlying the melodic expressions and Ibiza like percussion lies an agile subby bass that effortlessly carries the track while filtered synths and gorgeous pads unfold into a mind expanding sonic panacea. Teelco’s contribution features a deep methodic foundation of dazzling percussion while a hypnotic synth line swiftly carries the tune into a fiery explosion of percolating bass and sizzling stabs. The anthemic hook mesmerizes while the whole of the track ebbs and flows into spellbinding exquisiteness. As the track continues, ethereal pads and interesting leads take the remix to a new level after the breakdown and continues to subtly evolve until the end. In all it’s a sublime balance of technical aspects and melodic elegance. Description by Bryan Elsloo More info: www.abstract-space.net
