At the dawn of 2026, Lux Aeterna Records proposes a sonic revolution: transforming Melodic Techno into a vehicle for an “unarmed and disarming peace”, with the support of Diego Miranda, Dre Guazzelli and Liah Barrett. Inspired by Pope Leo XIV’s Message for the 59th World Day of Peace, this release harnesses the characteristic tension of Melodic Techno to convey a narrative of light against darkness — an anthem in favour of peace. Proof that electronic music can be a powerful medium of communion among crowds around the world. “WE WANT AN UNARMED AND DISARMING PEACE” features two original tracks that unite the dancefloor into a single cry for peace, carried by the emotional and powerful voice of Liah Barrett. 1. Padre Guilherme, Diego Miranda feat. Liah Barrett – We Want Peace In this historic collaboration with Diego Miranda, one of the most internationally recognised names in Portuguese electronic music, we are transported into a powerful sonic atmosphere. The track is a call — designed to disarm hearts and tell the world that the dancefloor stands for peace and seeks to become a “house of peace”, showing that concord “is not a utopia”. Capturing the essence that peace “is not merely a biblical image” but an urgent demand, this collaboration transforms the appeal “We Want Peace” into a devastating drop that leaves no one untouched. 2. Padre Guilherme, Dre Guazzelli feat. Liah Barrett – Instrumento de Paz Alongside the multifaceted Dre Guazzelli, Padre Guilherme explores more organic and progressive textures. The track Instrumento de Paz functions as a prayer. Responding to the call to “see the light and believe in it” in order not to sink into darkness, this piece builds a profound sonic journey. Liah Barrett’s voice guides us through emotional build-ups that culminate in a harmonic resolution, embodying the idea that “peace exists and longs to dwell within us”. This EP invites us not only to dance, but to live peace. It is the sonic materialisation of the concept that peace must be “a presence and a path”. By bringing these messages into Melodic Techno, Padre Guilherme echoes the call for “integral disarmament”, using rhythmic frequencies to tear down barriers and build bridges — disarming thoughts and words alike, because “peace carries the breath of eternity”. “WE WANT AN UNARMED AND DISARMING PEACE” is a cry from the dancefloor, calling us to become dancers of a new global harmony. It is an invitation to step into 2026 with the right foot forward and an open heart toward goodness — the soundtrack for all those who seek the ever-burning light of peace.
