The 1980s brought another transformation to the music industry. The “MTV Era” was born, and great looking artists became the norm for music video recordings. The synthesizer dominated pop songs while hard rocking guitar bands slowly faded to the background by the decade’s end. Pop-rock dance tunes were highly prevalent on the hits chart with contributions from another “British Invasion.” And rivaling the popularity of Elvis Presley in the 1950s, a new “King of Pop” was crowned. His name was Michael Jackson. All music tracks are remastered to play in full-dynamic audio range on modern sound systems and headphone sets. Enjoy and share this playlist with your friends.
