The classic Real Book tunes that everyone plays, the old reliable standards and others that everyone has to know, from "Autumn Leaves" to "Wave." Despite how often these tunes get trotted out, there's a reason everybody plays them: they're excellent. In these solo performances I try to keep true to the original concepts and conventional interpretations for the most part, although sometimes I take a totally different direction. These tunes are inexhaustible; there's so much a player can do with them.
