Old Punk to me has a slightly different style sound and feel to it. Most of these bands were huge in the punk world before the mid 80's. Most of the punk bands that came to major popularity after the mid 80's will be in the Newer Punk Playlist. Some bands will transcend both categories and I will put them wherever I feel like it at the time.
