Ace Combat X²: Joint Assault

With it being over a decade since his last work on an Ace Combat soundtrack, Shiina's approach with 2010's Joint Assault was in stark contrast with his work on 1999's Electrosphere. Sweeping orchestral themes ranging from pumping to somber distinctly stand out from the more techno or rock oriented tracks by collaborate composers Inon Zur and Kanako Kakino. Like God Eater, though, Shiina proves he isn't exempt for experimenting with rock as is heard in the game's main theme, "In the Zone".
