A new playlist. Featuring my favorite songwriter and the talented singer who joined him. Simon & Garfunkel have been very successful and their legacy continues to shine on. They are perhaps the most successful duo and the most popular duo from the 1960s. This is all the more remarkable when they've only released 5 studio albums together. In their solo careers, Paul Simon has released 15 studio albums and Art Garfunkel has released 10 studio albums. If you find the time, you can listen to all of these studio albums and find a rich catalogue of well-written music (from Paul) and a number of excellent covers (from Art). Yet, when you've managed to listen to everything, and you know there may not be much more from Simon and Garfunkel, what is there to do? Here, I present a playlist of songs that are the most rare recordings from Simon & Garfunkel. A few songs from their early Tom & Jerry years, the most rare songs from the S&G years (some that have never made it onto CD), and recently discovered demos from their solo careers. "A Charmed Life", "Groundhog", "We'll Never Say Goodbye". Hearing Paul sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" and Artie sing "The Ballad Of Buster Baxter". There are a number of rare Simon & Garfunkel recordings from the last seventy years and they have been worth the time searching for them. Enjoy everything in the Simon & Garfunkel Rarities playlist. There may be further updates here if any more recordings surface. As for the Tom & Jerry years, that will be a separate playlist unto itself as there are a couple hundred songs from that time. Thank you and enjoy the music from Simon & Garfunkel.
