In 2022, Lena Mædgen showed many assets of her musical abilities, which brought her to getting attention on her first, debut and solely released mixtape '7', otherwise known as 'Darjeeling, 7', creating a niche audience in the French IDM underground scene, having the opportunity to play her first live show in front of hundreds of people at Rock En Seine 2022 and getting her first music distribution deal at only 18-years old. Released on March 4th, 2022 (supposedly out February 21st, 2022), 7 is a mixtape by the French recording artist, music producer and DJ Lena Mædgen. The mixtape has a particular part in Lena’s discography with tracks like ‘Slowed By My Own Mind. (Introduction ¿)’, which introduces you to a new soundscape with heavily stretched vocals that create an ambiance with wonky drums and percussions inspired by the 2-step garage musical genre or ‘Ethernal.’ with the disturbing low synthesizers with high reverberation to loud basses that make vibrate your eardrum to melodious tracks embarrassing grand piano, electronic distorted basses and stomp-y kicks on 'GIRLS DON'T CRY. (Outro ¿)' who makes an ending to the artist's musical project.
