200 Extended Disco Songs!

200 Extended Disco Songs! This playlist is a great collection of 12" extended versions of 70's and early 80's dance records. The priority is the song has to have a great bassline! Categories included are disco, italodisco, funk, electro, freestylle, r&b, soul, contemporary jazz. also, a very few early house and hip hop tracks are included: (Check out Malcolm McLaren!) I tended to avoid that 80's new-wave sound, and make sure the song sounded "clubby".. But I started an 80's playlist as well.. check it out! Frequently in the 70's and 80's the longer, or remixed/ extended version of a song was better than the album version. The melody was kept intact (no de-constructions!) and the bass enhanced, they were trying to fill the dance floor! Many of the versions included here were only pressed on vinyl and can be worth hundreds of dollars each, but kind people on You Tube upload them for everyone to enjoy! It's fun to read the comments people post, too: ("I've been looking for this for 20 years!) (that's My song!) I tried to choose videos which have few or no ads.. Some tracks have great videos, too, but the priority was finding the best sounding version of the song. Let me know which tracks you think should be added, or removed, haha. To message me leave comment on one of my concert videos. Enjoy!
